2:47 pm	Mother's Day Mother's Day is always a hard one for me. Betsy was a great woman. I have been laying off the bottle a little more than usual. Some of my older entries on this live journal are a little embarrassing, I admit. I still go on a bender here and there, I will not deny it. I like going to see Robert sing at the Hideaway on Tuesday nights. Good people to visit there and it is always a fun time, even if Bill tends to tell some pretty dirty jokes sometimes. 3:09 pm	HOLY COW!!! Whoah BABY I feel GOOD toDAY! I think SOMEtimes I FORGET how LUCKY I really AM. Sure, my WIFE is DEAD but it's O K! She lived a LONG HAPPY LIFE. MOST men my age are STUCK doing NOTHING except SITTIN AROUND in a NURSING HOME or some fuckin BULLSHIT. ME, I live a NICE LIFE drinkin BOURBON. I get to SIT AROUND and WATCH TV whenever I FEEL LIKE IT. And HOW MANY GUYS my age have GOOD PALS, especially ones in their 20s who STILL KNOW how to have a GOOD TIME??? I get to go to MOVIES and CONCERTS and BARS and STORES. It's times like THESE that I realize I HAVEN'T MISSED a BEAT!!!
